Roberto Andorno and Diego Borbón attended an Expert Meeting on neurotechnologies and human rights in Belgium
On 25 November 2025, Roberto Andorno and Stehr-Boldt Fellow Diego Borbón attended an expert meeting at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, where they took part in discussions on states’ positive obligations regarding mental integrity and freedom of thought.
The meeting was organized by the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (University of Geneva) and aimed to support the UN Human Rights Council Advisory Committee in drafting guidelines on neurotechnologies and human rights.
