“Engineering Future Generations?” International Workshop on Germline Gene Editing at the Brocher Foundation

Between 14 and 16 January took place the Workshop “Engineering Future Generations? The New Debate about Societal Governance, Public Engagement, and Human Gene Editing for Reproduction” at the Brocher Foundation, near Geneva, with the participation of 24 experts from different countries. Roberto Andorno was co-organizer together with Marcy Darnovsky (Center for Genetics and Society, Berkeley, Cal.). Three IBME members (Mirriam Tyebally Fang, Anna Deplazes-Zemp and Daniel Gregorowius) attended this event.
