The aim of this article is to explore how transhumanists attempt to answer the environmental questions of our time. To this end, we selected and analysed transhumanist texts, and invited transhumanist activists to react to those texts during recent interviews. We show that there is not one but several transhumanist paradigms. Transhumanists differ not only on their manner of acting and reacting to ecological problems, but also disagree on the roles and responsibilities of human beings as regards global warning and the depletion of natural resources.
