Short Bio

I studied theology, philosophy, politics, economics, and law in Zurich, Berlin, Lucerne, and Fribourg. I graduated and completed my first PhD in theology and philosophy at University of Zurich and at Claremont Graduate School (CA) on the hermeneutical foundations of ethics. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Medicine from ETH Zurich and am currently enrolled at University of Zurich's Med School.
I am a postdoctoral researcher in University of Zurich's Research Priority Program Human Reproduction reloaded and work on reproductive responsibility in the context of germline genome editing, and preconceptional genetic testing. 

Research Interest

  • ethics of reproduction (e.g. reproductive justice, responsibility, autonomy, LGBTIQ+)
  • political ethics (migration, multiculturalism, pluralism, fairness)
