Short Bio
I am a medical doctor and public health professional with broad clinical experience and a strong interest in biomedical ethics, particularly at the intersection of healthcare and emerging technologies. My professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to advancing patient -centered care while addressing the ethical challenges that arise in modern medical practice. At the IBME, my proposed research project will explore the ethical implications of utilising Artificial Intelligence and Telemedicine in mental healthcare decision-making processes. This research will critically examine how digital technologies influence clinical judgment, patient autonomy, and shared decision- making, with the goal of developing ethical frameworks that support safe, equitable, and effective use of digital tools in psychiatry and psychology.
