Short Bio
Gamze Kaya holds an MSc in Bioethics from Acıbadem University and a BA in Philosophy from Hacettepe University. Her research focuses on bioethics, with particular interests in Big Health Data, data ethics and governance, FAIR principles, and the ethical implications of emerging technologies in healthcare and biomedical research. She has also worked on the ethical dimensions of animal research and the Three Rs within a One Health perspective. As a Stehr-Boldt Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine at the University of Zurich, she will further explore ethical issues related to Big Health Data, data governance, and emerging technologies in biomedical research.
