Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine at the University of Zurich (Stehr-Boldt Fellowship Award in Biomedical Ethics). Professor and Researcher at the Center for Studies on Genetics and Law, and Director of the Research Group in Biological Sciences and Law at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Professor of Neurolaw, Artificial Intelligence, and New Technologies, and Professor of the Master’s in Medical Law. Lawyer from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. PhD candidate in Philosophy, with a focus on the philosophy of criminal law, free will, and cognitive sciences. Holds a Master’s in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges. Master’s student in Applied Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. Specialist in the Accusatory Penal System. Holds Specialist and Master’s in Legal and Forensic Psychology. Founder of the Red Iberoamericana de Neuroderecho y Neuroética (Ibero-American Network of Neurolaw and Neuroethics). Serves at the International Neuroethics Society; Board Member of the Foundation for the Advancement of Neurosciences Applied to Law (FNAD); Honorary Member of the Colombian Criminology Association where he founded the Observatory of Neurolaw and Criminology; Member of the Mexican Association of Neuroethics. Litigation lawyer and consultant in criminal and public international law. International consultant and invited speaker on neuroethics and neurolaw.
