Curriculum Vitae

Daniel Drewniak has graduated in 2010 in Social Sciences at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, with specialization in empirical research methods in the social sciences and statistics. The topic of his diploma-thesis was an analysis of reliability of factorial surveys as an instrument to measure perceived injustice of income distribution. He has experience as a student research assistant in different fields of social sciences. After his studies he was employed as a research assistant at “Freie Universität Berlin” in the area of empirical educational science and at the Institute of Medical Sociology at the Charité in Berlin. His work task consisted of the development and validation of an instrument to measure quality of life of nursing home residents. Since 2012 he is a PhD student at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics, University of Zurich, Switzerland, in a project which examines discrimination of minorities by the health personnel and how to measure it.
