Beatrix Göcking

Beatrix Göcking, M.A.

Short bio

Beatrix Göcking finished her degree on Religious Studies with a focus on social sciences, gender studies, and political science at the University of Zurich. As an integral part of her education, she explored the interface between religion and medicine, such as how medical personnel care for Muslim patients. In addition to working as an assistant at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine, she is a clinical nurse specialist in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at the University Hospital Zurich. The perspective of diversity and inclusion in both scientific and socio-political debates is very close to her heart.
