Andrea Radvanszky is an assistant at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine (IBME) and responsible for the DIPEx Swiss Module Dementia (Database of Individual Patient Experiences).
She holds a licentiate degree in sociology from the University of Berne. In addition, she is lecturer in qualitative social research methods at the sociology departement of Zurich University.
Andrea’s research interests are situated in social phenomenology of dementia. In her PhD (« the social diagnosis of dementia »), which she is currently finalizing at the University of Leipzig, she investigates the social impacts of rule-breaking behavior in significant relationships. Her research adresses the ethics in dementia care which is empirically funded.
