Short Bio

Ekaterina Tikhomirova was born in Leningrad and studied law at the Saint Petersburg State University (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree). Afterwards, she worked for four years as a lawyer in a leading insurance company. Since 2009 she is a managing partner of a legal consulting firm in St. Petersburg and since 2016 she is a visiting lecturer of a law course in Swissam Business School in the same city. In 2018 she completed a bachelor degree in history of arts at the Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St. Petersburg.
Since September 2019 she is a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine at the University of Zurich.
