The
DSI provides an academic platform for promoting critical, interdisciplinary reflection and innovation on all aspects of the digitalization of society and the sciences. The DSI Seed Fund supports researchers to establish interdisciplinary collaborations in the forms of funding and management of proposed research projects, as well as communication with society and public community.
The awarded DSI Seed Fund will contribute to support a strategic IBME research project on the ethics of technology use in the humanitarian sector. With the constructive contribution of the DSI, the IBME is enabled additional resources to strengthen its research capacity and diversify its research themes.
