On April 5th, Daniel Drewniak gave a lecture on “Sociological Perspectives on Gender Specific Medicine” on the CAS “Sex- and Gender-Specific Medicine”. He pointed out the importance of gender as a social determinant of health. He also presented hypotheses and theories that could explain gender-based differences in health and illness.
