We are pleased to announce the recent addition of Dr. Andrea Ferrario to IBME, commencing his position in January 2024. Dr. Ferrario, with a background in Mathematics, previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Scientific Director of the Mobiliar Lab for Analytics at ETH Zurich from 2018 to 2023.

Dr. Ferrario's research centers on the philosophy of technology and its applications to human-computer interactions, particularly focusing on artificial intelligence in medicine. In his role at IBME, he will be instrumental in the development of digital decision aids, specifically aimed at supporting oligometastatic prostate cancer patients and contributing to preference-sensitive decision-making in the intensive care unit.
