Biography

Oriane Pierrès is a research assistant at the ICT-Accessibility Lab at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur. She is specialized in digital accessibility and barriers for people with disabilities in higher education. She has a background in European studies (B.A. from Clermont Auvergne University in France) and Politics and Public Administrations (M.A. from the University of Constance in Germany). She started her PhD in February 2022 at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on the ethical use of artificial intelligence in higher educations and its impact for people with disabilities.
