Upcoming talk on self-experimentation by Nikola Biller-Andorno and Tania Manríquez Roa at Swissmedic
Dear colleagues,
Swissmedic is very pleased to invite you to a new edition of the Liveupdate 4.0 format. On March 2 at 11:00 am Nikola Biller-Andorno and Tania Manríquez Roa will present: “Is self-experimentation a valuable research practice for innovation in medicine?”
In this talk they will introduce self-experimentation and reflect on its role in the development of new medical products. They will present the main findings of an e-Delphi consensus study with international experts on self-experimentation, discuss the main potentials and controversies surrounding self-experimentation, and argue in favour of standards.
As usual, the inputs will be divided into 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions from the audience.
