11.10.2018New publication on physicians' knowledge, attitudes, and assessment practices concerning medical decision-making capacity

Helena Hermann, Manuel Trachsel, Christine Mitchell and Nikola Biller-Andorno have published the results of a national wide survey study on medical decision-making capacity funded within the NRP-67 project of the SNSF.

Overall the findings show that the conceptual and practical challenges of decision-making capacity are for from being resolved. There is a clear need for more guidance in this area in the form of guidelines, tools, and training. Link
