Ning Wang invited to speak at the World Economic Forum

PhD candidate Ning Wang was invited to give a talk at the World Economic Forum, Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, on 15 October 2019. During the talk, Ning presented her research on Value Sensitive Humanitarian Innovation, with a focus on the ethical considerations of drones used in the aid sector for humanitarian purposes.

The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution is a hub of expertise, knowledge-sharing and collaboration for global and multi-stakeholder cooperation to develop policy frameworks that accelerate the benefits of science and technology. Based in San Francisco, USA, the Center partners with governments, leading companies, civil society, and experts from around the world to co-design and pilot innovative new approaches to policy and governance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
