Eleonora Viganò got a book contract with Routledge for the monograph «Moral Choices for Our Future Selves: A Moral and Empirical Theory of Prudence»

The book gathers together the main results of Eleonora Viganò’s project “Intrapersonal conflicts of values: scientific and philosophical understanding of the present self’s concern for her future self” funded by the Cogito Foundation.
The book is about the relationship between the individual’s present and future selves, with a focus on the cases in which they want different things. The author connects the scientific understanding of the neurobehavioral processes at the basis of one’s perception of the future self with the moral reflection on one’s relationship with the future self.
