04.10.2022Visiting scholar Professor Dien Ho

We are delighted that Dien Ho is visiting the IBME from 4-15 October.

Dien Ho is the Professor of Philosophy and Healthcare Ethics at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is also the director for the Center for Health Humanities. Dien is currently completing a book project for Cambridge University Press on the philosophical implications of placebos. In addition, he also serves as a consultant for a multi-center clinical trial exploring the use of open-label placebos for therapeutic purposes.

Dien will be giving a talk at the Institute on 5th October.
